Job Overview:
As an Appointment Setter / Outbound SDR — Spotlight, you will drive revenue by making high-volume outbound calls to dental practices, booking qualified appointments and securing Spotlight activations through confident call control, clean process execution, and strong objection handling. This is a performance-measured role designed for someone who can deliver results in a fast-moving environment where scripts and systems are continuously improved. You’ll be expected to maintain 40–50+ calls per day during ramp-up, accurately log activity in the CRM, and collaborate with the team through rapid feedback loops—while operating with integrity, speed, and ownership in a fully remote, accountability-focused setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make 40–50+ outbound calls/day (minimum during trial and ramp-up periods), using provided lead lists and outreach sequences
- Deliver a neutral, time-boxed opener to reduce early hang-ups and maintain control in the first 30 seconds
- Execute the approval-first call flow end-to-end, including:
- Confirming key information (especially email + phone) accurately
- Delivering the approval/receipt step clearly and confidently
- Identifying and/or reaching the purchasing decision-maker
- Presenting Spotlight with clean transitions and clear positioning
- Securing next steps (activation, booking, secure-link follow-through) and confirming details
- Handle objections (gatekeepers, “not interested,” confusion, timing, pricing) calmly without losing momentum
- Log outcomes, decision-maker details, next steps, and call notes in the CRM with high completeness
- Record calls and participate in rapid reviews/coaching loops to improve performance quickly
- Surface patterns (hang-up points, objections, winning angles) in a concise, actionable way
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of outbound calling, appointment setting, or SDR experience (B2B or local services)
- Ability to sustain 40–50+ calls/day during ramp-up while maintaining process quality
- Strong call control: you can lead, time-box, and keep conversations structured
- Strong objection handling: calm, confident, persuasive
- High process discipline: you can follow checkpoints while adapting intelligently when needed
- CRM proficiency with accurate note-taking and follow-up tracking
- Clear, professional spoken and written English
- Reliable internet, quiet calling environment, and stable headset/mic
- Must be able to work a schedule overlapping Eastern Time (ET/EST)
Education (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree required (any discipline)
Certifications (Required):
- At least one verifiable sales-related certification (or equivalent), such as:
- HubSpot Sales Software / Inbound Sales Certification
- Salesforce Sales Representative / Sales Operations credential
- Sandler / SPIN Selling / Challenger Sales training certificate
- Equivalent verifiable sales training certification (must provide proof)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dental/healthcare/local services appointment setting or outbound sales experience
- Experience with dialers, call recording tools, and understanding key SDR metrics (connect rate, funnel conversion, close rate)
- Experience working in performance-driven environments with QA, call audits, and coaching loops
- Demonstrated pricing discipline (anchoring value; discounting only with readiness checks)
- Remote work experience in distributed global teams
Ideal Candidate:
You are execution-first and metrics-driven, and you can produce results with minimal oversight. You stay calm under rejection, maintain control early in the call, and adapt in real time without skipping required checkpoints. You take pride in clean CRM notes and reliable follow-through, you improve quickly through feedback, and you’re comfortable being measured weekly on outcomes—not just activity.
