JOB OVERVIEW:

An IT Support Associate assists with the maintenance and improvement of a company's technological systems to ensure that all employees have the technology they need to execute their tasks and that the organization's critical files and information are safe and secure. IT Support Associate helps ensure the smooth supply of technology services, performs a variety of complicated information technology support activities. In order to accomplish desired results, monitors, operates, coordinates, assists, and trains others in the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
  • Assist in Implementing security measures
  • Performs a wide range of customer service, offering technical support to DF Teammates and troubleshooting computer-related problems
  • Secure proper installation and update of company software to DF Teammates’ work laptops/computers
  • Help evaluate and update design guidelines and processes regularly
  • Install, maintain and configure software systems according to company policies.
  • Perform software upgrades to achieve optimum performance level.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure and manage help desk issues.
  • Perform system back-up and database archiving processes to ensure data recoverability.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in any four-year course, preferably Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering and similar courses
  • Previous experience from internships and practical learning opportunities while completing their undergraduate studies.
  • Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization
  • Efficient troubleshooting abilities
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware and software
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends
  • Enthusiasm for continual learning


Additional Information:

Set up: Full-time, Remote.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7.5 Flexible working hours between 6am - 6pm Eastern Standard Time Zone (EST)
